Recurring Memberships and Refund Policy

When you purchase a membership from Beyond the States, the subscription will renew unless canceled by the customer by sending an email to tom@beyondthestates.com with the word, “Cancel” in the subject line. We prefer to handle these requests directly with our customers rather than involving credit card companies, so we can get a better understanding of our customers’ experiences with our offerings.

If you cancel your membership prior to the renewal billing, you will not be billed. If you request cancellation within a reasonable time (14-21 days) after being billed, we will issue a full refund less the transaction fees our credit card processor charges us (typically less than $5).

Our memberships are considered “fully earned” after purchase, therefore we do not issue partial refunds for cancellation requests within the subscription term, beyond the terms outlined above.
