Located in the northeastern Champagne-Adenne region is the city of Reims. The city is most known for housing the spectacular cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims and other great architectural works. Besides the city itself, the Champagne region is worth exploring for its champagne houses, which are an important economic contributor to the region. Paris is only 45 minutes away by train, and Luxembourg is not too far to the east. While offering many attractions, Reims is not abundant in the sunshine, so may not suit those who prefer the warm weather.
