Why should I study in Slovakia?

Slovakia was established in 1993 after the communist country, Czechoslovakia, split into two countries. Slovakia is a parliamentary republic that joined the EU in 2004. The country is mountainous, featuring caves and ski resorts.

Currently, the most famous Slovak is three-time world champion road cyclist, Peter Sagan. Slovakia is known for education, with 90% of Slovaks having completed at least a high school education, the highest in the EU.

How to Get Into the Best Unis in Slovakia

Proof of means requirements.

According to the Slovak US embassy site, a letter from a parent or guardian stating that all expenses will be covered for the student meets the proof of means requirement. Otherwise, three months of bank statements are required.
