Okay. This week, we’re going to start getting into some of the fun stuff. So there are some aspects of your search that are going to be really straightforward. For instance, there’s a budget you’re working with, or you’re going in with certain admissions criteria, there are fields of study that interest you.

This week, we’re going to work with those criteria, and those criteria only, to create a big list of programs that you’re qualified for, that are within your budget, and are associated with your interest area. The goal is to have this huge list of programs at the end of the week.

Pay no regard to things like location, university, student life, and those types of things. That’s for next week. It can be tempting to be like, “But I’ve always wanted to live in France,” and confine your search there. But if we start with things like location, even though it’s more exciting, you may miss out on opportunities in places that are just as awesome that you just don’t know about yet. By doing this systematically, you can be sure that you don’t miss out on opportunities that you might not have thought about to seek out on your own.

Let’s get started.
