Profile
In the first semester, modules from medicine, engineering, and natural sciences are offered, from which a suitable combination of subjects must be completed, depending on a student’s Bachelor. This balances the varying entrance qualifications of the students and creates a common platform for further semesters. The focus modules Tissue Engineering, Medical Imaging/Guided Therapy“, and Artificial Organs/Devices“ are chosen to reflect the characterstic Aachen profile in the biomedical engineering field of research. Other components of the curriculum are mandatory modules and optional additional modules. Students with no German skills are required to participate in a German course. EU students with good German skills are required to take place in an English course.
