This course focuses on the need to provide people with a good knowledge of agricultural engineering and, at the same time, have expertise in management and related skills in marketing and finance. These graduates will provide engineering, management, and related knowledge and skills to the agricultural engineering sector generally and, in particular, to the agricultural machinery-distributing sector and to the agricultural machinery-manufacturing sector.
In addition, graduates will be able to obtain employment, amongst others, in the areas of waste management, pollution management and control, agricultural engineering consultancy, and recycling. The course aims to provide graduates who can make meaningful contributions to the productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness of agricultural services and manufacturing companies; who can help in the development of new products; and who can aid in the development of new markets, both internally and abroad.
Notes
The Student Contribution Charge for all students is €3,000. EU tuition may be covered by the Free Fees Initiative. EU-Nationals, who are repeating a full year of study, must pay tuition fees.
Application deadline for EU students is February 1.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and ACT with a minimum score of 23 or SATS with a minimum score 1140. It is required from applicants to have completed 4 years of English, at least 3 years of Math (4 years recommended) at least 2 years of History/Social Science and a language and at least 2 years of a laboratory science subject (4 years recommended). Specific subjects may be required for entry into certain courses.
