Geodesy and Cartography

Studies in the field of Geodesy and Cartography provide the candidate with knowledge and skills in the area of engineering and technical sciences related to geodesy and cartography.The offered courses enable the candidate to gradually develop his/her skills in the area of geodesy and cartography.The graduate has acquired rudimentary knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences and technical sciences, as well as specialist knowledge in geodesy and cartography. The graduate has acquired basic competencies in the area of: contemporary methods for surveying and modeling the Earth’s shape and physical properties, observing changes therein over time, numerical processing and presentation of the results of surveying, satellite, remote sensing and photogrammetric measurements, performing spatial analyses with the use of GIS tools.
