What is student life like?

You will find the literature relevant to your projects in the school library, where you can also keep up-to-date with the latest books and periodicals in the fields of architecture, town planning, and design. And you can build models of your projects at the fabrication facilities.

The canteen is a popular gathering place when you need a break from your studies for a cup of coffee, something to eat, or simply a relaxed chat with your fellow students. The week often ends with the Friday Bar, which is arranged by the students themselves—who also regularly arrange bigger parties with DJs and live bands.

The students at the school are very active and facilitate a lot of student-driven activities and student societies at the school. In the interactive student handbook, you will find short answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding education, the school, and facilities. And you will be able to find a guide as to where you can find what.

Aarhus is the city in Denmark with the highest concentration of students. Aarhus is a very attractive student city. The many educational institutions, which are located around the city center, contribute to a young and vibrant atmosphere. Our school is one important reason why Aarhus today has a reputation as a city where international architecture and design flourish. Many internationally recognized firms of architects and designers in the city have their origins in the school.
