Why should I study here?

ACT, the tertiary division of Anatolia College, is accredited in the United States by NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Education). In addition to ACT's having full NECHE accreditation, the undergraduate programs delivered at ACT are also validated by The Open University (OU). ACT has also been granted a license by the Greek government to operate as a private post-secondary educational institution (“college”).

What are the admissions criteria?

Admissions requirements include a transcript, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a recent passport-sized color photo. Students from non-Anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency. Also, students from non-English or Greek-speaking high schools must provide official translations into English of the required documents.

What is student life like?

A variety of trips are offered each term. Experience hassle-free travel around Greece alongside your ACT classmates. Trips include visits to nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Royal Tombs of the Macedonian dynasty in Vergina and the monasteries of Meteora; hikes on Mt. Olympus; an afternoon of relaxation at the Pozar hot springs; or sailing around the Aegean Sea on a private sailboat for you and your classmates. See our online brochure for details and dates.

Student life at ACT is as vibrant as the city around it. At ACT, you can join sports, clubs, and activities to meet classmates from Greece, neighboring Southeastern European countries, North America, and countries all around the world.

Join a wide range of clubs, societies, and organizations; an active student government; cultural events; athletics; workshops; and special lectures. Check out the city’s art, folklore, science venues, and museums, and participate in the Thessaloniki Contemporary Art Festival and the International Film Festival for a chance to meet artists and filmmakers from around the world.

If you like athletics, try tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball, kickboxing, dance, mountain trekking, or canyoning. Joining activities is an ideal way to get the most out of your stay.
