Why should I study here?

The Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Germany’s capital city. The BSEL is distinguished by a clear focus on providing academic education strongly linked to real world skills, an intensive and diverse programme of research, high quality standards, and a strong international approach. 

The University’s portfolio of programmes covers private and public sector business and economics, administration, law, security management, and engineering.

What are the admissions criteria?

The application period usually starts in March and the deadline is July 15th. Germany has changed their admissions requirements again, starting for the 2021-22 school year, and now accepts AP scores!  Students who want to apply to programs related to Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, and Economics need scores of 3+ in English foreign language, which need to be French, Spanish, Latin, or German. 

Addition score in European History, American History, Computer Science, or Macro+Micro EconomicsStudents who want to apply for programs centered around Math, Science, and Technology needs scores of 3+ in Math (specifically calculus); Natural Science (Bio, Chem, or both Physics C tests); Language (French, Latin, German, Spanish, or English Lit or Lang/Comp); Addition score in European History, American History, Computer Science, or Macro-Micro Economics. 

Alternately, students with an IB diploma, an associate's degree, and 2 years of college credits (including specified courses) are also admissible.
