Why should I study here?

BFH is a university of applied sciences. In addition to teaching, our core competencies include continuing education, research and development, and consulting services.

What are the admissions criteria?

Applicants are required to have one year of full-time work in a related profession before applying. Applicants also need to include a photocopy of their passport. The application deadline is July 31st.

What is student life like?

The Bern University of Applied Sciences offers its members varied and attractive leisure activities in the sports and cultural fields. The Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH offers its students and employees a wide range of attractive sports activities and events. Its offer includes courses and training, as well as various game tournaments and a sports day, "the games," which takes place every year at the beginning of summer on the site of the Federal High School of Sport of Macolin HEFSM.

The Bern University of Applied Sciences has various sites in the Canton of Bern. At Biel and Bern, new campus-style buildings are now being built and, from 2022 and 2026, will connect previously separate locations.
