Description
ENSAI (École Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Analyse de l’Information), or the National School of Statistics and Information Analysis, is a French public graduate school and grande école founded in 1946. It is located in Rennes, Brittany, France, and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
ENSAI is a highly selective school, with an acceptance rate of around 10%. It is known for its rigorous academics and its strong focus on statistics, data science, and machine learning. ENSAI offers a variety of programs, including a three-year Master of Science degree in Statistics and Data Science, a two-year Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science, and a one-year Master of Science degree in Data Science for Business.
ENSAI is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), a prestigious group of French engineering schools and business schools. ENSAI graduates are highly sought-after by employers in a variety of fields, including finance, consulting, technology, and government.
Student Life
ENSAI is located near Rennes on the Ker Lann campus, where there are about six thousand students. This location is ideally suited and offers pleasant working and living conditions with a range of facilities covering accommodation, catering, sporting activities, and associations. Practicing sports regularly is not only a satisfying activity on an individual basis, but it is also a good way to socialize and get to know people. As a means of encouraging a balanced life, playing sport regularly quickly becomes a source of well-being, physical fitness, and an occasion for convivial moments since it brings the experience of shared adventure and going beyond one’s limits. The Student Union (bureau des élèves) coordinates all the student associations. It oversees the running of a number of clubs: photo, cinema, chess, music, skiing, theatre, rock, humanitarian, lectures, debates, and games. It manages the school cafeteria and organizes the new student orientation weekend, the annual ski trip, and cultural and entertainment evenings.
Housing
The university provides housing in student residences, with prices ranging from 170-240 euros per month.
