Founded in 1904, ESIEE Paris schools of higher education and research focused on all aspects of technological innovation and were founding members of the newly-created «Universite Paris-Est».ESIEE Paris is a member of the "Conference des grandes ecoles francaises". ESIEE Paris opens the door to a variety of professional careers in the fields of computer science, electronics, telecommunications, and embedded systems and works at the interface of management and technology.

What is student life like?

At ESIEE Paris, sport is more than just a hobby, it plays a significant part in student life. ESIEE boasts A fully equipped gymnasium (2000 m²) Martial Arts Training Room, a weight room, and a climbing wall. 

Thursday afternoons are dedicated to extracurricular activities. Around 30 activities are on offer, all led by professional coaches, including archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, canoeing, climbing, dancing, diving, fencing, football, gliding, golf, gymnastics, handball, horse riding, hot air balloon rides, indoor hockey, orienteering, rowing, rugby, sailing, self-defense, skydiving, squash, swimming, tennis, volleyball, weights.ESIEE Paris has its own Students' Union, an association that links the students to administration, oversees clubs, organizes events, and generally acts as the central nervous system of the student body. Every year, the Student Office organizes evening activities, ski trips, city breaks, and the legendary Welcome and Farewell weekends. It also actively participates in promoting the school's presence (Student Exhibitions, Open Days).
