Why should I study here?

Founded in 1907, ESSEC has never ceased to innovate to anticipate the challenges of the future. Very early on, rooted in the heart of the ESSEC identity, the pioneering spirit constitutes the common thread of this story steeped in history.

What are the admissions criteria?

ESSEC has four rounds of admission, with the first ending October 26th and the last ending April 11th,  Applicants complete the online application, which includes transcripts, a diploma (high school students can still apply in their senior year), a CV, English proficiency scores (if from a non-anglophone country or high school), and two recommendation letters. Applicants also need to include a photocopy of their passport. Candidates will be informed if they have made the shortlist within a month of applying.  Shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview (Skype or on-site) and the final decision will be announced about a month after the shortlist decision was made.

What is student life like?

Located 35 minutes from the center of Paris, the Cergy campus, in the heart of the new town, is an area designed for studying, sharing, and communicating. Located in the famous CNIT building, in the heart of Europe’s largest business district, this campus is designed to meet the needs of executive education participants. In the heart of the One-North sector, dedicated to research, teaching, and entrepreneurship, the new Asia-Pacific campus welcomes full-time students and executive education participants to 6,500 m² of academic facilities. Baptized ESSEC Africa-Atlantic and launched in 2016, this new campus is located in the municipality of Sidi Bouknadel in the heart of the Rabat-Salé urban area.

Scholarships & Funding

There are need and merit-based scholarships awarded as tuition waivers (up to 75%).

Housing options.

ESSEC's student housing office helps students find housing at one of the many student residences. One of the student residences is reserved for ESSEC first-year students and costs between 560-600 euros per month.
