Why should I study here?

Hellenic American University is an American university that is chartered in the state of New Hampshire. It was established as a United States institution of higher education on May 11, 2004 through passage of an Act of the General Court of the State of New Hampshire.

What are the admissions criteria?

Rolling admissions are used, but be sure to apply in time to complete the visa process. Applicants need to submit an essay, recommendations, their diploma or transcripts, proof of English proficiency (if from a non-anglophone country or high school), and a copy of their passport.  SAT or ACT scores are optional.

What is student life like?

Student clubs have a special place in our institution. They offer students opportunities to develop their leadership skills, contribute to the community, be active citizens, and support sports and cultural diversity on campus.

Scholarships & Funding

The university offers financial assistance to students with demonstrated financial need as well as scholarships to students with exceptional academic promise. In addition, limited teaching and research assistantships or work-study are available to qualified students. More information is available under the heading, 'Financial Aid' on their website.

Housing options.

Although Hellenic American College is not a residential college, the Office of Student Services can help students find reasonably priced accommodations in the city. For international students enrolled in a Hellenic American University degree program, this usually means a shared and furnished (and wifi-enabled) apartment for 2 or more students in or around the downtown area. For shorter stays, the College has arrangements with several budget hotels and small boutique hotels that offer discounted rooms for Hellenic American College students.
