Student Life
In recent years, many large construction projects with a volume of approx. €80 million have been built at the Westerberg Campus. In addition to the new cafeteria with up to 5,000 meals per day, the new modern lecture hall attracts attention due to its striking architecture and color. In 2015, the new 8,500-square-meter library was inaugurated. In contrast to these, there are also over 100-year-old historical buildings which are used by the university and achieved great military importance, particularly during the First World War and during the period of the British occupation of Osnabrück. Get moving after studying, try new sports together with others or just clear your head - students have numerous sports and relaxation facilities available in Osnabrück and Lingen. The General Students' Committee (AStA) takes care of all interests, wishes, and recommendations of students and works closely with the student Parliament and Student Councils.
