Student Life
Education and research at Karolinska Institutet is mainly conducted on two campuses: KI Campus Solna and KI Campus Flemingsberg.Solna and Huddinge are two of Stockholm's neighbouring counties, Solna to the northwest and Huddinge/Flemingsberg to the south. A 10-15 minute walk or train ride is all it takes get into the city from either campus.In addition to our campus areas, KI also has established cooperation with several hospitals in and around Stockholm city.In Sweden, student unions play an important role in university life and are often influential forces at the universities. Become a member to take part of all that they have to offer!The student unions offer various social activities such as team sports, choir, theatre groups, orchestra, café, pubs, language cafés and more. Through the unions, students at Karolinska Institutet are also actively engaged in academic issues and student welfare. Students are very well represented in the decision-making bodies of Karolinska Institutet, particularly the Board of Higher Education.
Housing
International students are guaranteed housing.  There are many different room options (singles, apartments, etc).  Single rooms range from 375-750 euros per month.
