Student Life
The campus encompasses education and research aims and services for the local community, offering a multicultural learning environment for students that is closely linked to current corporate reality by working with companies on projects which give students the opportunity to gain work experience before graduating. The campuses of the Politecnico di Torino draw inspiration from the structure of Anglo-Saxon ones, with multipurpose buildings for teaching, basic and applied research and services to the students in Turin, and a regional network of technological centers (Alessandria, Biella, Mondovì, Verrès), dedicated to research activities, technological transfer, specialist education and services to the region. Through PolitoSport, our University aims to enhance the potential of university sport as an effective and transversal tool for training, research, innovation, and improvement of well-being and university experience. Because sport at the Politecnico di Torino means: social inclusion, integration, overcoming ideological barriers, an integral part of the university experience, a factor of sociability, aggregation, a sense of belonging, identity, brand, and a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The Politecnico di Torino hosts many international student associations. Associations are created to unite a group of people coming from the same country to share experiences, create connections, and give support to both students already at the Politecnico and prospective students. Furthermore, students in the association become ambassadors for their country’s culture and traditions and can help in spreading these values to reach all the Politecnico students.
Housing
The school directs international students to Sportello Casa Service to help with housing. Shared housing can generally be found for 250-350 euros per month.

Scholarship & Funding
All international students are entitled to the same student assistance services (scholarships, student loans, housing assistance, canteen meal tickets, and fee waivers) as Italian students, on the basis of the same requisites of financial means and/or merit. Students can benefit from fee exemptions or reductions according to their family's financial situation. The requirements that EU and non-EU students must meet in order to gain such benefits are yearly set.
Notes
The first year for all of the bachelor's level engineering programs is the same and is offered in both English and Italian. Not only does this allow students to easily change their focus after the second year, but it also allows students without sufficient Italian proficiency to apply for the Italian-conducted programs. These students will take the first year of courses in English while taking intensive language courses provided by the school. After the first year, they can choose whether to begin the Italian program or switch to an English-conducted option. Only the English conducted options are listed in this database.
