Why should I study here?

The Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) is a Portuguese Higher Education Public Institution with over 8000 undergraduate and master students, embracing a wide area of knowledge and technology, including agriculture sciences, arts and sports, education and teachers’ training, informatics and engineering, administration and management, health, communication and tourism.

What are the admissions criteria?

Non-EU students need to provide a copy of their passport, legalized transcripts, or diploma (see country page for more information on this), a CV, and proof of English proficiency (if not from an anglophone country).

What is student life like?

The IPB has sports facilities located on the Santa Apolónia Campus, which consist of a football pitch, an open athletic field, and locker rooms. The other sports facilities are located close to the canteen and consist of a smaller football pitch with illumination and locker rooms. Those facilities are available for IPB’s school activities and can also be used for extracurricular activities. Its booking should be in Social Services.
