Description
On June 18, 1990, the Catalan Parliament gave the go-ahead for the creation of a new public university in Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra University, inspired by the principles of freedom, democracy, justice, equality, independence and plurality. From its beginnings, this young academic institution set itself this main objective: to train responsible professionals and citizens fully committed to civic values.

UPF offers a wide range of services and activities designed to help you make the most of your time at the university. The school says: Housing Service The UPF collaborates with the Barcelona Centre Universitari (BCU), an organism offering services relating to extracurricular university life for the community of foreign students studying in Barcelona. Through the BCU, Resa Housing offers complete housing services for international students and researchers. Student Resident HallsThis is a good option because, in addition to housing, they also offer a series of services that allow students to focus on academics and university life. The rooms in the university's student resident halls range from 316-424 euros per month. Students can have weekly room cleaning for an additional 33 euros a month and sheet and towel delivery for 25 rues a month. These residences also offer cultural events, educational activities and sports teams. There are many other student residences in Barcelona. Some have a pool, gym, or meal plan options. Rooms without meal plans can be found from 374-600 euros per month.
