Why should I study here?

From the school: Celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality (SSTH) is the only Swiss hospitality management school who’s English and German programs are accredited by the Swiss federal government. Additionally, SSTH is owned by the prestigious Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), who has designed our programs as the perfect launch-pad for a great career in the hospitality industry. Our vision is to be the leading professional training center in the world for hoteliers. Students at SSTH immerse themselves in the renowned Swiss tradition of hospitality, with its focus on luxury and quality. The Swiss Professional Degree is designed for those interested in a professional program focused on competency building. With up to two years of Swiss industry experience incorporated into the program, SSTH graduates are highly sought after hospitality professionals. In a close-knit, supportive community with fewer than 300 students—the majority of whom are Swiss and Europeans—top experts in each field guide and inspire students to success while they build a network of colleagues from around the world. SSTH students live and study in a beautiful former spa hotel nestled near the largest tourist destinations in Switzerland and with the most 4 and 5 star hotels, enjoying a nature-rich lifestyle with many outdoor activities. SSTH’s accredited Professional Degree demonstrates your mastery of hospitality, which will help you embark on a successful career path immediately after graduation. However, if you would like to continue into higher management studies, we offer the last three semesters of EHL’s coveted Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality curriculum on our campus. This allows SSTH students to achieve both a Professional Degree in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management.
