Why should I study here?

In 1979, the old Institut National des Télécommunications began training the engineers and managers at France Télécom (today known as Orange) on the same campus.  As the two different business cultures starting mixing together and sharing their work, new synergies began to emerge. Today, this hybrid approach remains the driving force behind our Business School at Institut Mines-Télécom, France’s leading Engineering School Group.

What is student life like?

Located on the university campus of Telecom Ecole de Management and Telecom SudParis, a 15-minute walk from Evry city center and the RER railway station, the MAISEL (Maison des Elèves) welcomes you to a green campus covering five hectares. You will find all the support services nearby: shopping mall, restaurants, cinemas…The on-campus restaurant is open from Monday to Friday. For an average price of EUR 4.00 per meal, a great choice of dishes is offered for lunch: starters, main dish, dairy products, desserts. With so many clubs on campus you’ll be able to find your sport, whether it be football, rugby, volleyball, basketball, handball, boxing, tennis, table tennis, badminton, futsal, kick-boxing, self-defence, Zumba, beach volley or bodybuilding and you’ll also have the opportunity to take part in inter-school competitions and tournaments. Over 60 student associations and clubs exist on campus. Shared with Telecom SudParis, student associations and clubs cover a wide range of activities: sports, culture, entertainment, economics, charities, science/technology ... Student government (the BDE (Bureau des Elèves) in French), is responsible for managing all student associations and clubs. Its budget is the fourth highest in all of France.
