Student Life
We have gathered important practical information about coming to Denmark for inbound students. Learn more about accommodation and the rules for working while studying, and get answers to frequently asked questions about life in Denmark. Denmark is located in Northern Europe and is a small country in Scandinavia with one of the world’s oldest monarchies. Denmark has a rich history that stretches back to the Viking Age around the year 1000. Denmark has 406 islands and the highest point in the country is only 170 meters above sea level. No place in Denmark is more than 50 km from the sea. Student Forum UCN is a council for students at UCN and was formed on requests for more student involvement and influence on UCN. We are seeing the organization becoming more uniform, and this means that many decisions have an impact across study programs and campuses, which is why we, the students, should have a common voice within the organization. That is why Student Forum UCN will champion the students' interests by exercising its influence on decision-making processes in UCN's governing bodies and act as the link between the students and the Rectorate.
