Description
The vision of the University of Boras is to achieve full university status and become the third university with full academic rights in West Sweden. As a step towards realizing this vision, the university focuses on the learning of students, increasing the proportion of research, and continuing to build complete academic environments.The national and internationally known Swedish School of Textiles and the Swedish School of Library and Information Science are a part of the University of Boras, both of which have educational programmes and research.

In addition to lecture halls, restaurants, and cafés, the campus also hosts one of the country’s best university libraries. When being a student in Boras you have nature around the corner. Just a few steps and you can breathe fresh air and go for a hike. Maybe just have a “Forrest bath” among the trees or a swim in the lake. Nature is a great place for your body and mind to rest, exercise, contemplate and reflect on your studies or even study.

The university does not provide housing.Apartments in town can be found from 260 - 520 euros per month.
