Why should I study here?

University of Economics in Katowice was founded in 1937 and is the biggest and oldest business school in the region, one of the top universities in Poland.

What are the admissions criteria?

The deadline for admissions is September 7th and requires a legalized diploma (see country page for more information on this) that is translated into Polish by a sworn translator. Applicants also need to submit a motivation letter and a copy of their passport. Applicants from non-anglophone countries or high schools must show proof of English proficiency.

What is student life like?

Enhancing the quality of the university's infrastructure is one of our priorities. There are 184 didactic rooms, including modern multimedia classrooms and computer labs, on our campus. The biggest of the four auditoriums, MAIOR Auditorium (Aula MAIOR), can seat 400 people. Our sports facilities include an indoor swimming pool, 2 gyms, and a sauna. The buildings at the campus are adjusted to the needs of disabled students and staff. Sport is an important aspect of student life. The University of Economics in Katowice offers a wide range of sports services for students and staff. At the university, you can find a swimming pool, sauna, gym, and a fitness center.
