Why should I study here?

The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is the oldest school of economics in Poland. Its mission has continuously been to educate economists and business leaders serving the nation, country, and region. SGH is famous for its tradition, flexible adjustments of programmes to students’ needs, unquestionable education level, and successful alumni.

What are the admissions criteria?

The application period begins in May and ends in August, and the largest obstacle in the process is that all documents must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator.  Your closest Polish embassy should be able to assist you in finding a sworn translator.

What is student life like?

Few people know that the large campus of the Warsaw School of Economics, located between Batorego and Rakowiecka Streets and Niepodległości Avenue, is a historical facility – an example of the original Polish architectural concept of the interwar period. The building complex at Niepodlegoci Av. was constructed for the purposes of the school, and, as a result of constant improvements, it has always been a perfect center of academic life. There is no doubt that the shape of the library, building A and the main edifice with the so-called “parachute lecture theatre” have a positive influence on the character of studies and work at SGH.
