Founded in Smyrna, Asia Minor, in 1875 by missionaries from Boston, Massachusetts, The American College of Greece is the oldest and largest US-accredited college or university in Europe.For over 140 years, ACG has been offering transformative education and cultivating a fertile intellectual and cultural collaboration between Greece and the United States.

Student organizations provide students with hands-on opportunities to enhance their understanding of groups and how they operate.

Housing
Students have the option of living in the housing provided by the university. This ranges from 400-575 euros per month, but is paid per semester with the tuition.

Scholarship & Funding
The Financial Assistance Program at ACG provides various levels of financial assistance based on need and/or academic achievement. The amount of funds is limited, so candidates should apply as early as is practical. Financial assistance is given for tuition only and does not include other fees.
Notes
The American College of Greece programs are accredited by the Open University (UK). The school also has US accreditation through the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. Validation and accreditation are very important to consider in Greece.
