Description
In 1994, an agreement was reached to compensate Bonn in various ways for this loss of status and income. The Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg was founded in 1995. The H-BRS was founded on the joint initiative of the Federal Parliament of Germany and the Federal Government of Germany, the parliament of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the federal state government of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Student Life
Sankt Augustin Campus, which is home to the Departments of Computer Science, Management Sciences, Social Policy, and Social Security Studies as well as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Technical Journalism/PR, comprises around 6,000 students.
The Rheinbach Campus, with the Departments of Management Sciences and Natural Sciences, comprises around 2,400 students. Hennef Campus offers student living accommodations for students in its buildings. The 214 single rooms are each equipped with a shower, WC, television, phone, and internet access.
Housing
Rooms in the student residences are limited and provided on a first come, first served basis. Rooms cost between 200 and 500 euros per month.
