EDHEC Business School
Description
Created by and for entrepreneurs, EDHEC has embodied the fundamental values of business for over a century. Our aim is to pass on the keys to business success to new generations of managers and entrepreneurs, spreading the conviction that companies can have a positive impact on the economy and on society as a whole. Through its unusual model, the content of its programs, and the value of its research, EDHEC nurtures its differences, encouraging students and teachers to think outside the box and foster their leadership qualities.
Student Life
The Lille Campus, which is eco-friendly, entrepreneurial and within easy reach of the city, embodies both the dynamism of the EDHEC Business School and its innovative strategy. The campus welcomes 4,000 students (one-third of whom come from abroad) every year and provides cutting-edge equipment such as its digital networked library and its trading room, which is a key factor in the learning-by-experience system. The Nice campus, which is conveniently located close to the city centre and the airport, is fully equipped with all the resources that encourage outstanding learning and optimal personal development. The Nice Campus offers all EDHEC initial training activities. The Lille Campus offers its students 3,200 m² of sports facilities, including a swimming pool, a sports hall, a dance studio, a squash court, and a gym. Everyone can do the sport they love: over 20 sporting disciplines are on offer, including weekly training sessions led by qualified teachers. These facilities are open to the school’s students and also to staff, who can therefore take part in their favourite sport as a leisure activity outside lecture hours. Even though its campus is located in the city centre, Nice also offers sports facilities, including a dojo, a dance studio, and a gym. In addition, the campus has formed many partnerships with sports clubs in the area. EDHEC’s strong commitment to its on-campus voluntary organisations stands out. Initiatives backed by the students, which form an integral part of its educational programme, are a direct expression of the school’s values and a strong driver for developing a spirit of enterprise. The student organisations, which cover a wide range of interests and enable everyone to find something for themselves, provide a unique opportunity to acquire experience, work in a team and put your talents and sense of leadership into practice.
