International Graduate Center
Description
The first MBA degree program at the Hochschule Bremen was created in 1995. Two years later, its first full-time version followed. After gaining profound knowledge of continuing education courses for nearly a decade, the International Graduate Center was founded in 2004. Right from the beginning, the IGC set out to adapt its teaching to the conditions and needs of students and society. As a result of this, a home was founded for internationally oriented students with a desire to further enhance their education. The goal has always been clear: an optimal and far-reaching service, which prepares students for the role of leadership. The technical focus of the IGC is on business, management, and leadership. The institution is fully accredited and lives from its diversity, which comes about through the diversity of students and teachers, also from the international orientation with IBSA Alliance, dual degrees, and partner universities. In addition, the Graduate Center is distinguished by its friendly-welcoming atmosphere and practical relevance to companies. All these aspects make the IGC and have made it the successful establishment and brand it is today with a wide variety of master’s programs, nearly 500 students from 60 countries, and 28 employees.
