Hey, Bentley!
Your Best Fit List is ready ๐
I’ve selected programs that uniquely represent your personality and needs. Below every listing you’ll find an explanation as to why I selected that specific program for you. I also recommend you keep digging into each selected college, city, and country for relevant information.
I really enjoyed working on this list for you! You have happy problems here since there are so many good options for you and your profile- but I shaped your list with, what I believe, are some of the best of the best. I was able to find a few stellar programs in two of your preferred countries – France and Spain. Schools in Italy, for the most part, require 3-4 AP scores of 3+ from US applicants, and there is this Business Administration bachelorโs program in Monaco (the only English-taught bachelorโs program in this country), but I donโt have much familiarity with it. I encourage you to still weigh it against the others on your list, however, especially since Monaco is a country of interest for you.
A couple of the programs listed are โmulti-campusโ programs which I felt would appeal to your notable desire for travel and exposure. And I wanted you to consider that we have so many interesting MBA programs in our database (including at some of the schools on this list) that are geared specifically to your interests in sports – take a stroll around our masterโs database to see what options exist. I donโt know if an MBA is in the cards for you, but I just wanted you to see what else exists out there beyond your bachelorโs – these are typically 1-year in duration. With this in mind, you could consider pursuing a broader undergraduate degree (if that appeals to you, such as the liberal arts option on your list), and then specializing at the masterโs level. There are many approaches to take, and you have many good options at your disposal.
It looks like youโve already scheduled a 1:1 consultation with me for next Monday, August 21, and we can discuss all of this in-depth then.

#1 – Toulouse Business School

Management
Barcelona, Toulouse, Paris, France, Spain
3 Years | โฌ11700 Yearly Tuition
Why I selected this for you
Here is the first of the 2 multi-campus programs I have on your list, and this one is an absolute BTS favorite. There are many of our members who are or have attended this program, and they have all only spoken highly – you can hear about their experiences in our member Facebook group easily. One thing that makes this business program unique is the multi-campus aspect, where you can study in at least two of their various locations (Toulouse, Barcelona, Casablanca) throughout the three years of study. But itโs also unique in its curricular flexibility, whereby you have many options to choose from under the business management umbrella, and you go on to shape your own degree.
The first two years are spent on the core courses in management as well as language-learning (choice of German, Chinese, Italian, French, and Spanish). Each of the first two years also includes a 2-3 month internship. At the front of the third year students go on to individualize their program with the choice of both a competency (Business Finance, Management Control, Marketing, HR Management, International Commerce) and a specialty area (Innovation Management, International Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Aviation Management, Fashion and Luxury Management, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Management). After studying these areas, they put their knowledge to use with a related six month internship. So by the time they graduate, students have a broad knowledge base, language skills, specialized knowledge, and a year of work experience through internships.
Speaking of internships, there are 3 that are mandatory (one at the end of each year – often international) so you have the opportunity to apply what you are learning as you learn it. The final internship is related to your specialization.
I was extremely impressed when I did a school visit here last summer. The international student office was incredibly helpful and eager to show me around, and answer my questions. The student supports at this school are unusually robust, and they have an exceptionally vast array of extracurriculars, clubs, and associations for international students. Plus, I can attest that the city of Toulouse itself is an affordable and dynamic international student city.
TBS was established in 1903 and holds the triple crown accreditation, which is the most esteemed accreditation for business schools – very few schools have this tier of accreditation. As well, TBS has always had an emphasis on providing resources for future employment. They found that many of their undergraduates didnโt make use of these resources on their own until the very last minute, and so to solve that problem, they integrated their Career Starter program into the curriculum. These mandatory and graded courses expose students to different career options, provide skills in resume writing. interviewing, networking, negotiating offers, and more. Further, each student is assigned a mentor from the Career Starter office who works with them throughout their studies.
Admissions to TBS is based on your grades, a video interview, and an online entrance exam, which assesses logical, verbal, and numerical reasoning abilities. Students can arrange to have the test administered by their high school and a study guide can be provided. but there are no other requirements otherwise. The tests and interviews begin in January and students are notified with a decision about two weeks afterward. The schoolโs website says: โTo be accepted by TBS, two main criteria are considered: a real motivation shown during the interview and a solid career project. The academic overall average of each candidate is certainly important but at TBS we are not only looking for good academic students, but also for character and potential.โ
Here is a blog post by one of our past student ambassadors, Jacob from California, who is currently attending this program.
#2 – EU Business School

Business Administration
Barcelona, Geneva, Munich, Germany, Spain, Switzerland
4 Years | โฌ13500 Yearly Tuition
Why I selected this for you
Here is another exciting 3-year multi-campus option for you, which includes, beyond a year in Barcelona, a potential year in Munich and a year in Geneva, Switzerland. Established in 1973, EU Business School (EU) is an international, professionally accredited, high-ranking business school. They offer foundation year, bachelorโs, masterโs, MBA, DBA and further education programs which focus on business administration. They take an experiential learning approach, their student body is highly international, theyโve small class sizes, and uniquely, all of their (many) programs are fully English-taught. I am really impressed with the scope and accessibility of their programs for international students.
The first-year core courses in the BBA Business Administration program provide a solid base in all fundamental business areas. Specialization subjects are incorporated into the curriculum in the third, fourth and fifth semesters. In the third year, you will focus on business management modules, which will equip you with key managerial concepts, theories and tools necessary for any business field. From strategic planning to finance and corporate development, you will become more analytical, creative and independent in your thinking. On the successful completion of two final case studies and a dissertation, you will graduate with a university bachelorโs degree (tรญtulo propio) from Universidad Catรณlica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain, and an internationally accredited bachelorโs degree from EU Business School Switzerland. In addition, you will earn a state recognized BA (Hons) in Business Management degree from the University of Derby, U.K.
Regarding admissions, they are rolling and take place throughout the year. The admission process at EU Business School is straightforward. Beyond your academic transcripts, they require a Personal Statement and a CV/Resume. Candidates are evaluated on the strength of their application with consideration given to the student’s leadership potential, academic achievements, performance on standardized texts, extracurricular activities and personal experiences. Enrollment takes place throughout the year, which takes into consideration their program’s year-round start dates. Uniquely, bachelorโs degree programs at EU Business School have four start dates per year, these dates are the same for every campus. Semesters begin in October, January, May and July every year. But before the program starts all students will attend an orientation to help them integrate into the EU community. One side note is that there may be a higher tuition rate exclusive for the year in Geneva – this is something to inquire about. Find campus information, and much more information on their website. Here is the schoolโs brochure, with loads of information. Here is a link to scheduling a consultation with EUBSs recruitment team, where you can ask any questions.
One more thing of importance for you to know is that this school has some very interesting (and specific) MBA options that align with your sub-categories (such as Sports and Communications, and one focused on International Business). You can take a closer look at these in our masterโs database.
#3 – Carlos III University of Madrid

Business Administration
Getafe, Spain
4 Years | โฌ6822 Yearly Tuition
Why I selected this for you
Okay, this is an esteemed university just outside of Madrid, and it may be more of a โreachโ option for you, but I still think itโs worth exploring and applying to if it strikes a chord. UC3M has AACSB accreditation, a sign of educational quality and rigor. Here is a blog post BTS founder, Jenn Viemont, wrote about UC3M after her visit there. Youโll be able to read more in this post about their highly unique study-abroad opportunities for their students, among other things.
Year 1 of this 4-year program provides a broad introduction with classes in business administration, economics, accounting, math, and stats. Year 2 starts to go deeper, including classes like Econometrics, Game Theory, Organizational Behavior and Commercial Law. Years 3 and 4 allow you to customize based on your interests through the large number of program-specific elective credits that are required. Check out the curriculum here.
UC3M has agreements with over 3,000 companies and institutions in which students can undertake internships and access job openings. And the schoolโs advertised employability rate is 93% where graduates enter the job market the first year after finishing their studies.
Admissions are competitive at this university, and are almost entirely based on GPA, but there appear to still be no SAT/ACT or AP requirements. Each bachelorโs program has a minimum GPA required, with most between 3.2-3.65 (weighted), and all programs require a motivation letter. The admissions rate for international students is just 8%, which sounds pretty discouraging. Remember though, many of those who are not admitted didnโt have the minimum GPA. Further, you can increase your chances (assuming you meet the GPA) if you apply earlier. The rolling admissions process is from October-April and so decisions are issued monthly, and there is an early admissions procedure too, but requires strong grades to do so. They use a common application. They also offer a Foundation Year program to fill in any admissions gaps, and this is good to keep in your back pocket.
#4 – Maynooth University

Arts (Liberal Arts)
Maynooth, Ireland
4 Years | โฌ13500 Yearly Tuition
Why I selected this for you
Okay, this is a bit of an outlier option for you, but it gives you an interesting, broader alternative to consider. Ireland has excellent liberal arts programs at their universities (often called โArtsโ). Their purpose is to give you curriculum flexibility and room to explore your interests, eventually narrowing in on a personal, multifaceted pathway. Usually, students choose a certain number of disciplines to take courses in during the first year and then narrow it down to one or two during the second year. Youโll have a program advisor guiding you regarding the best combination of subjects, and youโll be given clarity on an array of career outcomes. Some of the courses youโll have access to within this particular Arts program that align with your interests are a good variety of Business courses, as well as Finance, Accounting, but even a range of History classes. Check out the variety of courses you can take here. Again, all towards the goal of you shaping your own degree.
Maynooth University is an internationally recognized institution in the market town of Maynooth, located about 15 miles west of Dublin, Ireland, which is easily accessible by train. The town is inviting, peaceful yet bubbling with life. It is the nation’s fastest growing university and is one of the four constituent universities of the National University of Ireland. MU was listed among the top 50 universities under 50 years old in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Irish universities come with a number of amenities that you often wonโt find in many other European countries. Many schools own student housing, have beautiful centralized campuses, along with extensive sports facilities. More than any other country in Europe, more schools in Ireland offer scholarships for international students or have FAFSA numbers, and some even work with US loans. There may also be increased resources around the non-academic needs of the students. As well, there is access to many more clubs, associations, and activities – a result of Ireland being an anglophone country. This familiarity can provide a soft landing for American students who may be nervous about living abroad.
Admissions requirements beyond your US high school diploma are: GPA 3.0/4.0 plus a minimum 1000 composite SAT (reading, writing and math) score (1200 / 1600 for certain degrees) OR a minimum ACT composite: 22 / 36 (writing section not required).
Test scores are not required when applying, they can be submitted at a later date. Admissions is rolling and opens in early October with a deadline of June, and you get a decision within just a few weeks. I would apply early, if possible. Note: although APs arenโt required here, they may still appreciate seeing your AP background, and so I would include it in your application.
I also have to mention that Maynooth U happens to have a Business with Sport Science bachelorโs program, and although it may be too specific for you, it does tick a lot of your boxes – check it out for fun.
#5 – NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences

International Teacher Education for Primary School
Emmen, Netherlands
4 Years | โฌ8450 Yearly Tuition
Why I selected this for you
Okay, I chose this unique program in reply to your secondary area of interest in teaching/education, but also because itโs one of the only degrees of its kind in Europe that gives you the ability to teach across the globe, at international schools. This particular 4-year program is for primary school teaching, but there is another for secondary schools as well. Of course, unlike international schools in which English is usually the official school language, language learning would be required for the licensure route in many of these countries. About 12,500 of the over 13,000 international schools are privately funded. To teach at publicly funded international schools (most of them are in the Netherlands and Germany) or if you want to teach in your home country, you will need a national teaching qualification. This is an additional qualification you can take after you have graduated from the ITEPS program. Universities in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, UK and USA offer a one-year program to obtain the qualification.
This teaching degree has a holistic approach, so students learn to integrate the academic, social, emotional and ethical needs of their pupils into their lessons. The primary education program at NHL Stenden UAS allows you to specialize in a variety of subjects (in addition to general primary ed type classes) such as Art and Culture, Inclusive Education, Religion and Intercultural Understanding, History and Social Geography, and on. You spend part of your degree working abroad in an international primary school and you get the chance to study abroad at one of their partner schools in Denmark or Norway or take a minor subject at their Grand Tour location in South Africa. You could also go on an exchange to a partner institution and delve into a totally new way of studying. Shorter programs abroad are offered through RUN-EU, giving you the chance to delve into a subject for a short period of time working with students from different disciplines and different countries.
NHL Stenden UAS utilizes Problem-Based Learning, which is common in the Netherlands, and expands on that approach with Design Based Learning. This focuses on creating hands-on learning, working in small groups, and working alongside professionals, which occurs throughout the program. A key component of working with professionals is the required internship, which can be completed internationally as well. These experiences and collaborations lead to their astounding employment rate of over 90% for all programs at this school. Impressive!
This program is hosted on their intimate Meppel campus. But despite its intimate size and small student body (230), Meppel is highly international, with students and staff from a variety of countries. If you feel at home in a small-town setting, you will certainly feel right at home in Meppel, with its numerous parks and canals.
All prospective ITEPS students need to go through their specific admissions procedure, which includes: a CV and a motivation letter (up to 1 A4 page of text) describing your background, explaining why you want to become a teacher at an international school, and outlining your expectations of the program; fill in a questionnaire and complete the online diagnostic mathematics test; take part in an assessment, including an intake interview (which can be done online); and apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). No SAT/ACT or AP requirements otherwise, beyond your US high school diploma. May is the admissions deadline.
There are few other programs in your areas of interest at NHl Stenden UAS you may want to check out as well, such as:
For all Best Fit Lists that include a program in the Netherlands, Iโve been sharing this recent announcement by the Dutch Ministry of Education – the possibility that all Dutch higher-ed programs post-2025 will be taught in Dutch only. At BTS, weโre keeping our finger on the pulse of this, and so far feeling optimistic about it: https://www.dutchnews.nl/2023/06/study-in-the-netherlands-from-2025-youll-need-to-speak-dutch/?fbclid=IwAR0w8lVgHjG0QvqhKC57wuPUw8Z-DGxvXiTnmN-VriszHpi8jDR4n7-xIdQ
