Effective Date: 9/23/2025

This Video Submission Release Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the submission of videos (“Submissions”) by participants (“You” or “Your”) to Beyond The States (“Company,” “We,” “Our”). By uploading or otherwise submitting a video to us, You agree to the terms below:

1. Grant of Rights

You grant the Company a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:

  • Use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, and display the Submission, in whole or in part, in any media or format (including websites, social media, print, video, and promotional materials).
  • Create derivative works based on the Submission.
  • Assign or sublicense these rights to third parties working on the Company’s behalf.

2. Ownership & Warranties

You affirm that:

  • You are the creator and sole owner of the Submission, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to grant the rights in this Agreement.
  • The Submission does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.
  • No other person’s approval is required for the Company’s use of the Submission.

3. No Compensation

You understand and agree that:

  • You will not receive any payment, royalty, or compensation for the Submission.
  • The Submission may be used in perpetuity without additional notice to You.

4. Release & Waiver

You release, discharge, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and successors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or relating to the use of Your Submission, including (but not limited to) claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, infringement of moral rights, or infringement of intellectual property rights.

5. Consent to Public Display

You understand that Submissions may be displayed publicly and associated with the Company’s brand. This includes use in promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and social media channels.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State/Province], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding Submissions and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications.

By submitting a video, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
