The main emphasis in graduate education in the field of Applied Mechanics is on the readiness and ability to develop, elaborate and practical use of modern computational and experimental approaches to solve technical problems. Graduates will be able to perform static, kinematic and dynamic analysis of mechanisms and structures, to apply fracture mechanics in the assessment of limit states of components and structures, to assess the reliability and durability of machines, temperature loading, deal with technical tasks, flow dynamics and hydro-thermodynamic systems and heat and mass transfer. They will be able to exploit and further develop computer support in the design, planning and research activities for specific applications. Gained deeper knowledge of the core disciplines of mechanical engineering creates a broad basis for creative applications in engineering and other professional growth through various forms of lifelong learning.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree Determined by Dean, may include entrance examination.Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency.Application deadline for non EU students is February 16(online reg) and March 16 for paper sub.
