Online Courses

Beyond access to the only database of 11,400 English-taught programs in Europe, you’ll get access to online courses to help you master the program selection & college admissions process. You’ll learn how to discover your ideal area of study, which countries work for your needs, how to consider tuition, and many other topics that help you reveal your ideal matches, instantly.

While friends, social media, or online portals can be helpful, their information can be limited or biased. Our self-paced courses provide a deep dive into topics with action steps to complete along the way, guiding you through the often confusing European college landscape so you can avoid frustration and disappointment.

You’ll get access to 2 self-paced courses:

  • Choosing a University – This 4-part course helps you determine your own criteria for choosing a program and school. We cover quantifiable criteria around budget, admissions requirements, and fields of study. We also discuss what to look for (and red flags) in schools, programs, locations, and student life.
  • How to Choose a Major – This 3-part course is helpful even if you’re pretty clear about what you want to study. Through lessons and exercises, you’ll learn how your unique interests translate into the different study areas in Europe, and which programs you’re most aligned with.

Beyond the States made something that was just a pipe dream into a reality! College in Europe seems so fanciful, but your database made it realistic and, even better, accessible. I really appreciated you database, mainly because it made a future that seemed unrealistic a reality; and so easily to! Thank you to you and your services, and I hope to be good example for you and your business.

We would not have had the confidence to find a suitable degree program abroad without their help. Now, our daughter is successfully enrolled in a program that suits her goals. She is loving Europe!

The options for studying in Europe are amazing, but starting your research can be daunting! Beyond the States was indispensable in providing the information my student needed to understand how the European system works, which programs fit his interests, how to apply, and much more. It was well worth the investment!

My son is an older student having graduated high school several years ago. Beyond the States was instrumental in finding a program for my son in the Netherlands that did not hold this education gap against him and that fit his interests perfectly.

If it weren’t for BTS, we would never have found English taught Bachelors in Europe. We had been looking for a long time, but had restricted our search to Anglophone countries. This opened up a whole new world and has changed my daughters life! Cannot recommend enough!

Beyond the States has given my son hope when he thought all was lost. He did not go the traditional route for high school due to an illness. He got his GED bu sophomore year. Jen was like an angel assuring us Owen would gain admittance to a school abroad. Beyond the States truly was a gift from heaven. As I write this, my son is in The Netherlands, on his own, visiting The Hague and Erasmus College. We had live phone sessions with Jen to help us prepare and I always know she is a phone call away if we have questions.

Beyond the States has been such a blessing. As a former Rotary exchange student myself I have always encouraged my children to consider studying abroad, not realizing how daunting that process could be. My daughter and I spent hours scouring the internet but were never fully confident if a school was actually taught in English, would be recognized in our home country (US), or even if they were legitimate. Jenn took all the guesswork out of the process. Beyond the States provided more information that we could have ever uncovered on our own. My daughter is now preparing to attend a University in Spain this fall and my son who is a junior is likely to follow suit. We are so grateful to Beyond the States for providing such an excellent resource to those of us who think getting a degree abroad is unattainable. Many Thanks!
