Would you like to dig deep to retrieve hidden information with the latest techniques? The need for quantitative support to optimise operational and strategic decision-making continues to increase. The Business Analytics and Quantitative Marketing programme focuses on the most creative side of data science: developing models and techniques to convert big data into knowledge, find opportunities and predict behaviour. Such models and techniques originate from statistics, econometrics, machine-learning or computer science.This challenging programme teaches you how to use the most appropriate quantitative methods when solving business problems and conducting research. This will enable you to apply and further develop effective data-analysis methods and translate findings into actionable advice.As a student in the Business Analytics and Quantitative Marketing MSc you learn how to make use of the enormous amount of data that is available in corporations and other organisations to support decision-making in business. You will be introduced to the latest research techniques and will, after completion of the program, be able to contribute to new developments in this field.The programme is made up of 7 core courses (each 4 ECTS), a seminar (12 ECTS) and the master’s thesis (20 ECTS, including the master’s thesis proposal). Each core course focuses on a particular set of techniques or a methodology. In the seminar, students form small groups and focus their complete attention to solve an actual business case. The seminar is usually organised in cooperation with a company.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree (BSc) in the field of Econometrics and Operations Research, Economics, and Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Industrial Engineering. Applicants with a degree in Economics, Business Economics, or Business Administration need to have a quantitative specialization (such as a minor or major in Econometrics, Operations Research, or Decision Analysis) to apply. Your bachelor's degree needs to consist of a solid background in advanced mathematics, applied mathematics like operations research and programming, applied statistics, econometrics, and time-series analysis.
