The English-language master’s programme in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering is run in collaboration with Graz University of Technology as part of the NAWI Graz partnership. Its distinctive feature is the combination of chemistry, pharmacy and process engineering, and the practical work in modern laboratories.In the master’s programme you can specialise in either chemical or pharmaceutical engineering. You will acquire theoretical and practical skills that will equip you to develop and assess products, production processes, quality assurance systems and innovations for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, including the use of process engineering methods.As a graduate of this master’s programme, depending on your bachelor’s degree programme and individual specialisation, you will be qualified for careers in research, development, planning, production and quality control of chemical and pharmaceutical products. These might include for example the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, business, administration, research and teaching, the development of pharmaceutical and chemical processes and products, the optimisation of chemical processes and products, environmental impact studies, or quality control and assurance.
