Profile
The modern chemistry combines the advanced theoretical and experimental methods, the basis of which are chemical reactions conducted in controlled laboratory conditions. An important issue in the chemistry is research of substances and their qualitative transformations. Chemistry is trying to explain mechanisms of those transformations at the molecular level, is also seeking relationship between the substance properties and their composition and atomic structure. Students at the Chemistry course within the second degree studies specialise in the issues of chemical analytics, chemistry of metals and polymers, as well as medical chemistry.
