Graduates of this course will be able to design and construct complex metal, reinforced and prestressed concrete as well as timber structures. They will have knowledge referring to the theory of structures, computer aid design (solving the problems of structural mechanics), construction organization and management, evaluation of structure technical conditions, repair and reinforcement technologies, thermal diagnostics and modernization. They will be prepared for work in design offices, construction companies; they will be able to perform managerial and supervisor duties in building production enterprises. They will be prepared to solve complex design, organizational and technological issues in construction industry. The course curricula includes: Monolithic construction, Mechanics of engineering structures, Prestressed concrete structures, Complex metal structures, Geoengineering, Road infrastructure, Applied mathematics, Organization of construction works, Numerical methods, Elasticity and plasticity theory, Concrete engineering structures, Connections in steel structures, Computer-aid designing of complex construction processes, Concretes for special applications and advanced technologies of construction materials, Thermal diagnostics and thermomodernization, Special foundations, Bridges, Advanced timber structures, Protection against dampness and corrosion.
