In the Master of Music in Composition programme you will develop and finalise an artistic project with its associated subprojects. The programme consists of an independent master’s project with an emphasis on composition.In this connection, you will write a thesis. In the Research Forum and the Creative and Aesthetic Seminar, you will be challenged to view your project within a larger musical and cultural context.After two years of study, you will be expected to work as a composer at the highest professional level. The programme can also provide the basis for admission to PhD programmes and the Artistic Research Programme.In addition to the general course in composition (covering instrumental, vocal and electroacoustic composition), two specialisations are also offered: jazz composition for large ensembles and film music composition.
