The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at TU Delft offers a broad Master’s programme in Computer Science. The faculty has an outstanding reputation and attracts students from all over the world. The programme is strong in intertwining research and technology. Our Master’s students get the chance to carry out cutting-edge research in state-of-the-art research facilities such as the INSYGHT lab. TU Delft has strong ties with industry and many of our students carry out their thesis projects in collaboration with high-tech companies.The graduate programme of TU Delft offers Master of Science (MSc) and Doctoral (PhD) degrees in Engineering. Our professors and scientific staff are leading scientists, and their expertise is reflected in the MSc programmes. We offer our students a challenging education and participation in cutting-edge research.The MSc programme in Computer Science is built on the strengths and innovative power of our research groups. The programme will provide students with the flexibility to focus on ‘Data Science and Technology’ and/or ‘Software Technology’, while giving them a broad basis so that they will be equipped to continue innovation in the future. These innovations will enhance the career prospects of our graduates even more as our new tracks will match the urgent needs of prestigious industries and universities.The first year comprises theoretical study, assignments and laboratory work. Students gain in-depth knowledge on fundamental techniques, methodologies and theories that help them to define their field of interest. The second year is largely devoted to specialisation and the graduation project, which involves participating in advanced research or design projects in an academic or industrial environment, in this country or abroad.The MSc programme in Computer Science has two tracks Data Science & Technology and Software Technology Besides that, the MSc programme in Computer Science offers three special programmes: 4TU Cyber Security Master, Bioinformatics and Information Architecture.

Admissions Requirements
An engineering bachelor degree in Computer Science or a closely related field with good scores for key subjects(Mathematics and Modelling, Software Development Fundamentals, Computer Systems, Fundamental Computer Science, Data and Information Systems), Motivation Letter and CV. Undergraduate GPA is evaluated and typical requires at least a 3.0 average.
