Creativity and entrepreneurship are leading themes in the cultural sector, and in the new economy. The Master Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam explore thoroughly these themes.Students acquire a solid background in cultural economics, cultural entrepreneurship, and research methods. They learn about the latest theoretical developments in the economics of:-art markets,-cultural organizations,-cultural and creative industries,-digitization,-performing arts,-marketing of cultural goods,-and about culture beyond markets.In seminars, workshops and during fieldtrips students will apply the theory to actual cases. In the final thesis students pursue a topic of their choice, and develop the skills to conduct their own research.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, some training in economics at university level, combined with a sustained interest in arts and culture documented in academic studies and/or vocational experience, well-documented interest in the cultural sector, as indicated by courses taken or practical experience, academic training in empirical research methods.
