METME has been conceived as an advanced education program in the field of applied economics offering high-quality training in academic and professional research, providing analytical and quantitative tools to address today’s economic challenges to tourism economies. The programme rigorously integrates theoretical knowledge and its application to the economic problems commonly faced by those economies.METME aims to train specialists in economic analysis applied to the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of projects and policies in the context of tourism economies. M&E is a powerful public management tool that can be used to improve the way governments and organizations achieve results. The master will help students to develop skills and competences in M&E to improve the competiveness and sustainability of tourism economies. Graduates will acquire knowledge of cutting-edge techniques in M&E by choosing one of the two available specializations: (i) Monitoring techniques applied to tourism or (ii) Evaluation techniques applied to tourism.
