Profile
Are you ready to take your engineering skills to the next level? Would you like to get hands-on experience with the latest technological innovations in industry? HAN’s Master in Engineering Systems gives you the know-how to develop the systems of the future. Systems that are crucial in a wide range of fields: the automotive branch, mechatronics and process manufacturing, electronics, Lean and renewable energy. What’s more, HAN’s close collaboration with research and industry partners puts you at the forefront of the career market. You have to apply for the Master Engineering Systems and choose one of the tracks. Choose between:-Automotive SystemsIn this masterstrack, you will focus on becoming an authority on automotive design, R&D and production management in an international setting. You will learn about intelligent vehicle systems such as dynamics and driver assistance, but also about advanced propulsion design such as driveline and power train. The course directly reflects major international trends in vehicle development and manufacture.-Control SystemsIn this mastertrack, you will focus on becoming an authority on modelling and advanced control. You will learn to model and validate complex non-linear systems with multiple inputs and outputs using both white box modelling and system identification. You focus on advanced control applications used in industry, such as robust control, optimal control and adaptive control systems. But you will also learn to apply practical control solutions such as integrator wind-up solutions and a smith predictor.-Embedded SystemsIn this mastertrack, you will focus on becoming an authority on modelling and smart distributed Systems. You will learn to design and implement architectures for distributed embedded systems, innovation services and advanced algorithms to solve complex tasks. Students will learn to model and validate complex non-linear systems with multiple inputs and outputs using UML and/or SysML, black box modelling and system identification. Students will learn how to create a digital feedback controller for a linear physical system and to apply control strategies. You will learn to model and validate systems with multiple inputs and outputs using both white box modelling and system identification. You focus on control applications used in industry.-Lean EngineeringIn this mastertrack, you will focus on becoming an authority on Lean Engineering. You will learn to model and validate systems with multiple inputs and outputs using both white box modelling and system identification. You focus on control applications used in industry. You will deepen the knowledge from your technical bachelor. The course provides you with tools to improve manufacturing design and product development. By doing so, you will be able to link technological developments with the needs of business processes.-Sustainable EnergyIn this mastertrack, you will focus on becoming an authority on Sustainable Energy Systems. You will learn to model and validate systems with multiple inputs and outputs using both white box modelling and system identification. You focus on Sustainable Energy Systems including sustainable technology and Energy System Integration (ESI). You focus on control applications used in industry. Furthermore you can choose modules about Data Analytics or Power Supply.
