Our environment is hugely affected by human activity. Agriculture, use of natural resources such as water, wood and minerals, and industrial and consumer pollution are all factors with impact on the environment. As a graduate from the MSc programme in Environmental Science, you will get insight into environmental processes, pollutant effects on humans and the environment, and in how to create sustainable solutions to environmental problems.The programme is offered only in English.The MSc programme in Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary programme with two specialisations: “Chemistry, Toxicology and Health” (ChemTox)and “Soil, Water and Biodiversity” (EnvEuro).The specialisation in “Chemistry, Toxicology and Health” gives you insight to how environmentally harmful substances move and are degraded in the environment. You will learn what is toxic, and most importantly you will become an expert on what we can do to find solutions to the challenges of toxic substances in the environment.The specialisation “Soil, Water and Biodiversity” is a European double degree MSc programme in Environmental Science (EnvEuro).You study one year at University of Copenhagen and the other year at one of the three partner universities:University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart, Germany), Swedish University of Agricultural Science (Uppsala, Sweden) or the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (Vienna, Austria). Within “Soil, Water and Biodiversity” you can choose several profiles, tailored to the specific courses available at the partner universities.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application period for non EU students is from November 15 to January 15.
