Profile
The course requires active student participation, similar to the teaching practices which have made English-speaking LL.Ms such a success: practical cases, discussions, oral communication, presentations by professionals during classes, etc. Students are also offered the possibility of participating in mock trials, and of drafting legal publications, published in a scientific journal in their own name. Finally, the students’ assessment also has a practical spin. Students are offered the choice to draft an LL.M. thesis or to carry out a two month internship in an institution, company or law firm specialised in competition law and/or intellectual property. All these aspects make the training interactive and practical. Because competition law and intellectual property law are two subjects which are closely intertwined at the European level, this course presents students with the opportunity to embark upon international careers.
