The goal of the master’s program in Financial Economics is to enable students to recognize and analyze economic problems on an academic level. Upon graduation, students will be able to independently develop solutions and utilize alternative problem solving methods to think in a systematic way. These are valuable skills for understanding and to evaluating complex relationships from multiple points of view.This study program builds upon a foundation in quantitative methods, econometrics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics, which are taught during the first and second semesters. In the final semesters, students have the option to specialize in either applied economics or applied finance.
