The Master of Arts in Fine Art and Design, programme Fine Art offers a two-year, English language programme. Besides traditional Fine Art forms such as painting, sculpture and photography, the programme focuses on transmedial forms of visual expression and research.The starting point for the MA programme Fine Art is your individual project proposal (part of the application procedure). Various components of the programme such as critical studies, research studies, studio practice, spatial practice, media theory, and curatorial studies, will incite you to further realize and contextualize your own project. The year is concluded by a curated exhibition and a research report.Study profiles:• Studio Practice• Spatial Practice• Curatorial Practice• Exhibition Practice The MA Programme Fine Art was previously known as MaHKU and as such has a rich, ten-year history. As of 1 September 2017 it continues in a new guise as a programme of the new HKU Master of Fine Art and Design.
