The emphasis on applying history at an academic level is what makes this one-year Master’s track in Groningen unique. Would you like to learn to compile a historically accurate exhibition, write someone’s life history, conduct quantitative or archive research or analyse image culture? The choice is yours! Explore the use of digital techniques in research and public presentations. Or learn to see the consequences of change in organizations and companies in terms of their historical development.The Master’s track offers three professionally oriented specializations: History for the Media, Culture and Heritage Sector, History for Policy, Administration and Politics and History for Teaching and Education – each with an appropriate placement. Developing your profile (thematic, chronological or regional) is also part of the programme.The research seminars, given by specialized lecturers from the Netherlands and abroad, provide extra depth.

Admissions Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Applicants from non-anglophone countries must provide proof of English proficiency (TOEFL 90 and IELTS 6.5). Admission Deadline: May 1 and October 15
