The aim of the joint degree master’s program Human-Computer Interaction is to research, improve or redesign interfaces (interface between user and technical system) and user experience. The course offers scientifically based professional training as well as application-oriented practical training at university level. The main idea of an academic education of the highest possible quality and scientific character (professional qualification, research and dissertation ability) is pursued. To cope with current and future tasks, graduates need a qualification profile that includes knowledge of approaches (e.g. design thinking, experience centered design), qualitative aspects and guidelines (usability, user experience), methods and tools.
