The Master’s programme in human resource management and organizational psychology is designed to prepare students for work involving the management and development of human resources in a demanding knowledge-based work environment. Graduates work, for example, in management, consultancy, human resource issues, educational issues, business development, or change management. The programme aims to deepen students’ understanding of management, marketing, and organisational psychology. An emphasis is placed on strengthening analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to develop human resources and organisations in a demanding environment. The aim of the studies is to train and motivate students to use analytical and critical thinking. The MSc programme furthermore trains students in using independent and scientific work methods. Through elective courses, there are possibilities for integration with other fields within RU, such as law and information technology. The content of the programme is based on international academic requirements and criteria and is developed in effective consultation with progressive Icelandic companies.

Admissions Requirements
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with major in business administration, economics or equivalent. GPA 7.25 or above. Applicants from non-anglophone countries should provide proof of English proficiency. The application deadline for non EU applicants is February 1.
